This site has a twofold purpose. The first is to be a central point of inquiry for people that are interested in going out to eat in the Sedona Red Rock area of Arizona. This site will be a portal to the area's restaurant webistes and a central information gathering place for those restaurants that don't have websites. One of our main goals is to create a website for every restaurant in the area. The general public can come here to look for information on restaurants, including reviews, hours, menus, events and maps. Our second main purpose is to be a place for restaurants to post events and news about their restaurant. These purposes are symbiotic in nature and together will make this website THE place to go for dining information in the Red Rock area of Sedona, Arizona!

Welcome to the Red Rock Restaurants website! The main purpose of this website is to provide restaurants goers with information about the restaurants in the Red Rock area of Sedona, Arizona while at the same time providing a centralized place for restaurants to post their events, newsletters and other information. Its a marriage made in heaven!

If you've recently eaten at a area restaurant, please post a review of your experience. And we're talking about good experiences too, not just the bad. If your review is not flattering, we hope that you have at least let the restaurant know about your problems while at the restaurant. That's the only way restaurants can get feedback that will help them improve their operations. Posting a negative review will only hurt a restaurant, and remember, a lot of money has probably been invested and a lot of people make their living by working at that restaurant. Please give a restaurant at least a second chance before posting a negative review.

And you restaurant owners out there.... We're here for you! Please feel free to login and register. Once you do this you can submit news articles that will be posted out here for free. That's right free! Plus, add events to our public access calendar, again for free! We want to make this the "Go To" resource for people looking to go out to eat and have fun in the Sedona Red Rock area.

The public and restauranteurs can post a variety of items to this website for publication. Everything posted will be reviewed before its released for publication, so please, be on your best behavour!

  • To post a cooking tip, click on the "Contact Us" button on the top menu bar. and select "Tips" under the name field. An email window will open up. Fill it in and click on "Send". That easy!
  • To post a Review, you can click on the "Contact Us" button as above and select "Reviews" from the list of names, or you can click on the "Email Us a Review" button on the main menu to the left. In either case, when the email form opens up, fill it in and click on "Send". That easy!

Restaurants can post newsletters and events to the calendar of events (free of charge!).

  • To post a event on the calendar of events, click on the "Calendar of Events" button on the top menu bar. A window will open with the Calendar of Events displayed. Move your cursor to the "Events" button on the top menu bar. A drop down menu will display with the selection "Add New Event". Click on "Add New Event". The calendar will disappear and form will open for you to enter the necessary information. Enter a breif description of your event in the "Brief Description" area and enter a full description of your event in the "Full Description" area. Dah! (Don't enter too much in the full description, just a few sentences) The only thing left to do is to enter the date. You can enter the date by picking them from the month, day and year buttons, or by clicking on the "Select" button. If you click on the "Select" button a little calendar window will open up. All you need to do is select the appropriate date and the little calendar window will close and the date will be entered for you. Click on save and the event will be added to my list of events to approve. Once its approved, it will be posted on the calendar.
  • To post a newsletter, you first have to register as a user on this website. It easy, don't worry. On the lower left hand side of the screen there is a login form menu. Click on the "create an account" button. Fill in the form with the appropriate information. Part of that information is your email address. Make sure this is a valid email address. I will send you an email and you have to reply to me so I can verify that its valid. Once you create your account, login with your username and password. A new user menu will appear in the lower left hand area. Click on the "Submit an Article" button and a article submission form will open up. Enter the title (with your restaurant name in it) and the body of your newsletter (you can cut and paste, but formatting might be a problem). Then click on save in the upper right hand corner and I'll take it form there. If you have to make changes, you can find your newsletter by clicking on the "Restaurant Newsletter" button on the left hand side menu and then clicking on your newsletter in the resultant list of newsletters. There will be an edit icon on the upper right of your newsletter (you have to be logged in to see this edit icon).
  • To post a link to your existing website, create a user account as above. When you log in, your user menu will include, in addition to submit an article, a "submit a link" button. Click on that and enter the appropriate information on the form. Or, you can just email us!

Once you've created a user account, the world's your oyster! Login and login often! See you around town(s)!

We want your hot links (not the sausage kind, the website kind)! If we put your link on our website, we want you to put a link for us on your website.

You can follow us on Twitter and/or Facebook. Our Facebook posts automatically show up on Twitter. Right now it doesn't cost anything to set up an account on either. You can look at the posts without setting up an account, but then you can't reply to or interact with the posts and other people.

I wonder how many calendars are out on the web? Lot's! You're invited to use our restaurant calendar to post any info you have about events your restaurant is going to have and its FREE OF CHARGE. I listed a couple other calendars just for your info. And if there is anybody out there that wants me to put a link to your calendar, just email us and we'll see what we can get going!
